I was at the same table as Gwen Stefani at the MOCA gala, so I have a little scoop on the dress she wore in L.A. on Saturday night: She paid for it (which is news in that town), and she had forgotten who made it until she looked at the tag at the end of the night. But let’s forgive her: Earlier in the day, she had launched her Harajuku children’s line for Target, so she had spent the entire day with kid models, which I’m sure exhausted her. Not that anyone could tell. She is so polished and consistently turned out that it’s no wonder she’s been an icon for nearly two decades now.
