The Fall 2012 L.A.M.B. presentation is happening tonight at 7:30 PM at The Box at Lincoln Center,and thanks to Gwen’s awesome tweeting spree last night,we have a sneak peek at the amazing collection!! We are loving the prints-the houndstooth is to die for!-and the shoes and bags are stunning,too! This may just be the sickest L.A.M.B collection EVER!! L.A.M.B. shows have always been one of the most anticipated-and most praised-events of New York Fashion Week,and we expect this one to be no different. Gwen had hinted to Women’s Wear Daily that the new collection was inspired by ‘’the 1960s rogue girl who has a Japanese street sensibility’’,and it looks like,as in the past,ska and tribal inspirations are prevalent. We are SO excited to see the rest of the items and wish Gwen and her entire L.A.M.B. team the very,very best in presenting what is sure to be another fabulous and hugely successful collection!! L.A.M.B. shows have always been star-studded affairs,and we have learned that actress (and big Gwen fan ) Miranda Cosgrove and basketball star Shaquille O’Neal will be among the celebrities at the presentation. UPDATE: USA Today Style is reporting that a L.A.M.B. show rep confirmed that Gwen will not be at the L.A.M.B. presentation tonight,despite Gwen’s tweeting spree last night. Gwen of course did not attend last season’s L.A.M.B. presentation due to various professional and personal committments,and we know she has been extremely hard at work on the new No Doubt album,so it’s understandable that she’s not able to attend. No matter what,Gwen’s amazing presence,inspiration and vision will definitely be felt tonight.
