Gwen sat down with InStyle to talk about her new eyewear collections for L.A.M.B and Gx with Tura Inc. She talks of her desire to design glasses since she she started designing and how her designs are always something she would like to wear herself. Gwen also mentions that being a celebrity designer can help, but can also be a problem, when people don’t like you and won’t wear yor name. She says people buying the glasses are doing cause it works for them versus being a product created by her and that she has about 20 pairs of her own.
When asked when she started wearing glasses, she comments on how her entire family wears them, but was lucky to to only needing them later on, about three years ago, before being pregnant with Apollo, and how after he was born, her whole body changed:
Okay, I don’t think the font is getting any bigger on my phone. And now I design them! Timing always works out as it should.
She also talks on how The Voice create new opportunities for her, like being signed as the new ambassador for Revlon, and how she has a lot of things up her sleeve on the show, cause she likes being busy,
