In a new interview with Billboard.com,songwriter/producer The-Dream( his real name is Terius Nash) claims that he has been in talks about working in the studio with No Doubt. As fans may recall,another producer,Detail,recently said that he had worked on the new album,but Tom clarified on Twitter that the band had no knowledge of the potential collaboration and had never met Detail. Detail reportedly stated later that Interscope CEO Jimmy Iovine had booked studio time for Detail to write and produce for the band. We will have to see how this claim from The-Dream develops.
Nevertheless, The-Dream will be working with plenty of artists as a producer and songwriter later this year. “I’m working on the Pusha T and Fabolous [albums] of course,” he says. “I’ve already talked about getting in with Gwen [Stefani] and the guys, No Doubt. I’m anxiously waiting to see what Mariah [Carey] is ready to do, and when she’s willing.”
