That same month Gwen launched her L.A.M.B. fashion line with a collection of bags for LeSportSac. On November 25,The Singles 1992-2003 was released, along with the Rock Steady Live DVD and Boom Boox,a boxset featuring The Singles 1992-2003,Everything In Time,The Videos 1992-2003 DVD and Live In The Tragic Kingdom DVD. Everything In Time was a collection of b-sides,rarities,and remixes, many of which were from Return of Saturn recording sessions. After winning their second consecutive Grammy for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for ”Underneath It All” in 2004,the band embarked on a US summer Singles Tour with Blink-182. No Doubt once again won MTV VMAs for both Best Group Video and Best Pop Video for ”It’s My Life” that same summer, after which time the band took its planned hiatus and Gwen began working on her first massively successful solo album,Love.Angel.Music.Baby.,enlisting Tony’s help on several tracks;he also worked on Gwen’s second and final solo album,The Sweet Escape. (Tony also did more producing during this time, working with artists such as Elan Atias,Pepper, and Pink. Also during the hiatus,Tom married Mieke Binzer, worked on his musical project Invincible Overlord with his friend Ted Matson and produced Matt Costa’s first album, joining him on tour in 2005. He also scored with Matson the documentary The Providence Effect. Adrian drummed with bands like Bow Wow Wow,The Start and Street Drum Corps, played on albums for the likes of Dilana and Unwritten Law,and, with Tony and Tom,co-wrote a song on Scott Weiland’s 2008 solo album. The band performed together again in 2005 for the Concert for Tsunami Relief, and in 2007 they played two surprise sets during Gwen The Sweet Tour concerts in Irvine. The No Doubt family grew with the arrival of Gwen’s and Tom’s sons in 2006;they would both welcome sons again in 2008.) What are your favorite moments from The Singles era?
