In a new interview,budding singer/songwriter Kady Z names Gwen and Robyn as two of her main influences,saying how she loves that their music is fun and always evolving and how Gwen is ”a hybrid of a girly girl and a guy’s girl and she doesn’t take herself too seriously”.
You’ve been quoted as saying that Robyn and Gwen Stefani are some of your big influences in your music. What parts of each of them are you drawn to?
What draws me to Gwen Stefani and Robyn is how both make music that is rich in melody and so much fun. It isn’t monotonous and it is always evolving. I love how Gwen Stefani is a hybrid of a girly girl and a guy’s girl and she doesn’t take herself too seriously. And of course Robyn, dancing her heart out on stage, tearing it up live, she is so good!! They are both forces to be reckoned with
