Webisode #2 is Up!!! Footage of Gabe and Steve in the Studio!!

YAY,it’s finally here!!! No Doubt has posted the second in-studio webisode on their youtube page!! This webisode features footage of the amazingly talented Gabe McNair and Stephen Bradley joining the rest of the band and producer Spike Stent in the studio July of last year and earlier this year-the band praises Gabe and Steve for the freshness and awesome sound they bring to the music. Gwen promises LOTS of horns on the new album, even more than on Rock Steady, and from we can hear, they sound INCREDIBLE!!!!

UPDATE: Here is a link to an mp3 of complete audio of the webisode-we will add it to EIT Media soon!

No Doubt Webisode 2-Gabe and Steve in the Studio.mp3

And we have screencaps up in the gallery!

UPDATE 2: We love what SPIN Magazine had to say about the webisode:

When Gwen Stefani enters a recording studio, it is customary for the horn players awaiting her to begin playing “The Imperial March.” We learn this key factoid and a few more nuggets about the first No Doubt album in 11 years from the band’s latest studio webisode, which captures longtime collaborators Gabe McNair and Stephen Bradley adding some of their horny flair to several of the new album’s tracks.

Based on this latest peek inside the studio, we know now Push and Shove does indeed feature horns — Stefani proclaims there are more horns on Push and Shove than there were on the band’s last album, 2001’s Rock Steady. Also, guitarist Tom Dumont seems almost jealous of McNair and Bradley’s “freshness” and “excitement” — even though they’ve been playing with the band since 1993 and 1995 respectively. That should give fans an idea of just how long this band has been in the studio recording this album. (So should SPIN’s ridiculous gallery of the band’s Twitpics.)

Push and Shove is due on September 25 via Interscope.
