This edition of Throwback Thursday focuses on lyrics. Have you ever noticed that Gwen tends to use the idea of “in between days” a lot in her lyrics? During the Return of Saturn sessions the band had stated that they were listening to The Cure for inspiration. Could this have been sampled from The Cure’s song “In Between Days?” Who knows but if you listen to other Cure songs you will find some other similarities within their lyrics.
