Gwen on Harajuku Mini: ”More Is Coming!”

Gwen spoke to InStyle at the Milk + Bookie event on Sunday,saying that there will be more collections coming from her Harajuku Mini kids line at Target. She said again how she draws inspiration from Japanese kids clothes for the line,and shared that she loves designing for both kids and adults. As we had mentioned,Target announced that there would be six new Harajuku Mini installments coming this year-we can’t wait to see them all!

More children’s clothes by Gwen Stefani are on the way! After launching her first mini-size line for Target in November, the No Doubt singer and L.A.M.B. founder is hard at work on a follow-up. “Target is going to keep coming,” Stefani told InStyle.com at the Milk & Bookies Story Time Celebration in Los Angeles this weekend. “We’ve got new collections coming and coming and coming. For the kids stuff, I draw from Japanese inspiration or from Japanese kids clothes.” So, who is more fun to dress—children or adults? “I love to do both,” she said. “I really enjoy doing the children’s right now probably because it’s new.” We can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

UPDATE: Gwen also told InStyle at the event that she’s been reading lot of children’s books lately-aww!

Stefani and her equally stylish six-year-old son stopped by the Milk + Bookies’ Third Annual Story Time Celebration in L.A. “I’ve been reading a lot of children’s books,” Stefani told InStyle.com before taking her little one to the the giant bookstore set up where families could select, inscribe, and donate them to children without access to books of their own. Recipients included School on Wheels, Ready Set Read, and L.A. Family Housing.
