From PopSugar:
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale traveled east together yesterday and were once again side by side at the Met’s Costume Institute Gala in NYC this evening. Gwen is wearing her own line, L.A.M.B., while Gavin’s more simple suit let her gown get all the attention. The two are putting up a strong united front after recent negative rumors, but as they said, “all is good” with the Rossdale family and this is a perfectly glamorous date night for Gwen and Gavin. Vote on Gwen’s dress and all the rest with Fab and Bella’s live love it or hate it polls!

From FabSugar:
Gwen Stefani showed off a softer side tonight in a tulle-embellished shimmery gold gown from her own L.A.M.B. label. Transparency throughout the column gown is interesting. Adore her art deco cuff. Simple gold studs, bronze clutch, and hubby Gavin top it all off. Is Gwen ticking all the boxes for a night out at the Met?

From USAToday:
About the event: Considered the best social ticket in New York, celebs from the East and West coasts converged for the annual glittering fundraiser. This year, Oprah Winfrey co-chaired the event with Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and the Gap’s Patrick Robinson. “I’ve heard about this (ball) for years,” Winfrey said on the red carpet. “This is a dream come true for me.” The gala kicked off the Costume Institute exhibit “American Women: Fashioning a National Identity,” which runs from Wednesday to Aug.15 at the Met.

Guest list: Limousines full of stars pulled in, dropping off Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldana, Blake Lively, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Longoria Parker, Eva Mendes, Claire Danes, Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba, Rachel Weisz, Brooke Shields, January Jones, Kristen Stewart, Renee Zellweger and Janet Jackson.

Couture couples: Justin Timberlake arrived hand-in-hand with Jessica Biel (both sported Ralph Lauren). Burberry dressed dapper duos Daniel Craig and Satsuki Mitchell and Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady smooched, as did are-they-aren’t-they couple Sienna Miller and Jude Law.

Colors of the night: The red carpet was awash in metallics, from Sarah Jessica Parker’s gold laméHalston Heritage gown and Gwen Stefani’s silver lamé L.A.M.B. frock to super-sequined looks worn by Anne Hathaway (Valentino) and Jennifer Lopez (Zuhair Murad).
