Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are reported to have tied the knot yesterday.
Television star and fashion guru Nicole and the Good Charlotte rocker are said to have married in an intimate ceremony at Nicole’s musician father Lionel’s Los Angeles estate.
The couple’s celebrity pals including Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris Jenner and Samantha Ronson are all believed to have been included in the 130 guests, as well as music icon Quincy Jones, who is Nicole’s godfather.
“She’s a blushing bride no more. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden became a married couple Saturday night in Beverly Hills,” reported Radar.
Benji, Joel’s Good Charlotte twin brother, was reportedly his best man, and Nicole and Joel’s children Harlow, two, and Sparrow, 14 months, were also an integral part of the big day.
An elephant named Tai is said to have also been involved in the ceremony, after it was spotted being led into Lionel’s estate.
People reported that other than the elephant, the wedding was relatively traditional, with sources telling them the pair’s rings were made by jeweller Neil Lane, who were behind Nicole’s 4-carat engagement ring.
“They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamorous feel to their wedding,” a source told People.
“Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day.”
