Lunch-goers, meet a flash mob.
The food court in CityPlace shopping center in downtown Boston bustled to the beat of Gwen Stefani this afternoon as a group of people jumped from their seats and began a dance routine.
Bystanders found themselves in the middle of the choreography, which the comapny performed not once, but twice.
“It was really interesting,” said Abbey Niezgoda, an Emerson College senior who captured the flash mob on her iPhone. “They definitely did a really good job.”
The performance of Stefani’s “Wind It Up” promoted the ArtsEmerson production of “Fraulein Maria,” running the last week of September into October at the Paramount Theater, Neizgoda said.
