This is so wonderful! The always-charitable No Doubt has teamed up with City of Hope,an organization that supports cancer research,in selling a limited-edition No Doubt shirt,more than 50% of the proceeds from which will benefit the charity. The cotton shirt has the band logo used for the official site and ICON CD on the front,and the City Of Hope logo on the upper back-it comes in sizes from Medium to XXL and retails for $21.95;international shipping is available. The City of Hope site says the shirt will ship ”on or around July 5th”-we are not sure if that is an error or not,but we will find out. No Doubt has been a supporter of City of Hope in the past,even performing at the charity’s Spirit of Life Gala in 2001. Thanks to the band for always being so charitable-we hope the shirt sale raises a lot of money for City of Hope!!

UPDATE: I telephoned a City of Hope customer service representative who said that the shipping date for the shirts posted on the City of Hope site was actually July 5th of this year (the shirts have apparantly been available since then,as this ArtistDirect article mentions) and that they are still waiting for the shirts to arrive. The rep also said that he e-mailed a client rep last night about this very issue,and that the City of Hope website should be updated soon with the accurate shipping date for the shirts,so keep checking!
