Tom Shares Photos of Zora Prototype Three

Tom updated his blog with photos of his beautiful new Zora Prototype Three guitar made by GJ2 Guitars! He added that Zora Prototype #4 is now under construction, and hopefully will be due in a month or so. We hope Tom enjoys playing his new guitars!!

I picked her up this morning at Grover Jackson’s “GJ2” Guitar shop in Laguna Hills, CA.

This one, like the others, plays like a ripe avocado – so smooth and tasty!

Grover makes his own pickups and you’ll notice that these are humbuckers, which is a little different for me.

The volume and tone knobs (which Grover also makes in-house) can be lifted for coil-tapping on the pickups.

There is also a Gotoh floating tremolo bridge. And also the usual ebony fretboard, w jumbo frets and chevron inlays.

The wood is hand-oiled Sapele and employs a three-piece neck through body construction for tone, sustain and stability.

Zora Prototype #4 is now under construction, for yet another look and configuration. Hopefully due in a month or so. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you like these, they are hand made in the USA and will (hopefully soon) may be ordered at a GJ2 Dealer. ๐Ÿ™‚
