Today’s the first day of the Battle Rounds!

Today contestants Sugar Joans and Jean Kelley fight for a place to continue in the competition! They performed an amazing version of Destiny’s Child’s song “Survivor” and Gwen ended up naming Sugar the battle’s winner, but Jean wasn’t sent home, since both Adam and Pharrell used the “Steal” button! Jean ended up choosing Pharrell and now’s she’s on #TeamPharrell.

#TeamGwen’s second battle involves Amanda Lee Peers and Taylor John Williams performing Dolly Parton’s hit “Jolene”. The contestants did a great job, but Gwen ended up picking Taylor as the winner of this battle. Amanda was sent back home.
