Yay,as promised,OPI has officially launched its amazing Gwen for OPI digital look book!! The interactive book is divided into four chapters (Inspiration,Process,Collection and On Set) with more details on the Gwen for OPI line that viewers can click through. We loved learning more about the collaboration and creative process between Gwen and OPI’s Executive Vice President and Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann (they agreed on a 7-shade palette that captured the facets of Gwen’s personality and featured new innovations in OPI lacquer and even its packaging-the monochromatic geometric prints on the bottle caps were inspired by the patterned walls and ceilings of Gwen’s home office that were designed by Kelly Wearstler;we even get to see some of the sketches for the bottle cap and nail art designs.) The look book also includes some gorgeous, previously unseen images from Gwen’s OPI shoot and a video with behind-the-scenes footage from the set of the shoot last June with photographer Miranda Penn Turin featuring an interview with Gwen in which she talks about her lifelong love of nail art and the OPI brand and the inspirations behind her collection-check out the clip below. And don’t forget to download the free Gwen for OPI Nail Art app in the iTunes Store!
