This powerful 43-year-old working mom from the suburbs of Southern California became front woman of No Doubt, a highly successful solo artist and an accomplished fashion designer—but always finds time to take her sons to the park. Her edgy-yet-wearable label, L.A.M.B, drew accolades from fashion critics; and its offshoot labels, Harajuku Lovers and Harajuku Mini, are selling well at Target. Like the rest of us, Gwen sometimes finds it challenging to reconcile her work-self and mom-self. Last year she told Vogue, “I am a mother. And if you don’t do it right, there are serious consequences.”
