Gavin Says It’s Painful Being Away from Gwen and the Kids While Touring with Bush

In a new interview with BANG Showbiz,Gavin shares that it’s painful to be away from Gwen and their kids while he is on tour with his band Bush, but that it is inevitable. Gavin is currently touring in London but will be returning home next week-we hope he,Gwen and their sons and all of No Doubt and their families enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season.

Gavin Rossdale finds it “painful” when he is away from his wife Gwen Stefani.

The Bush frontman is currently on tour and he admits the worse thing about it being on the road is not waking up next to the No Doubt singer – who he has been married to for nine years – every day.

He said: “It’s painful to be away from her – but who has a life without pain?

“Any guy in a relationship should pinch themselves no matter who they’re with and I am no different with Gwen.

“It would be nice to wake up to Gwen every morning, but I haven’t seen her for a while so I’m waking up next to myself which isn’t as exciting to me.”

The 46-year-old rocker – who has two sons, Kingston, five, and three-year-old Zuma, with his wife – finds it “challenging” to balance work and his personal life, but he knows it’s all part of his role as the head of the family.

Gavin – who released a new Bush album, ‘The Sea of Memories’, this year – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “It’s tough to be away from her and the kids but it’s inevitable in any walk of life. It’s challenging to balance it. It’s really taxing travelling and being away, but everything I have I’ve made with my own bare hands. I’ve got everything I got from working and it’s worth it for the children.”
